Draft the book itself in a quiet, distraction-free page, cream paper and serif type. Beside it, Events holds every scene and beat on a single ordered line, so the structure of the novel is never hidden from the writing of it. Change the order by dragging; the whole shape follows.

When the writing is done, Book Preview shows the manuscript set as a finished book: chapter pages with drop caps, real margins, front and back covers, long before it is printed. Watch it become a book while you are still writing it, so the thing you are aiming at is never abstract.
